Play blackjack properly and bring home the winnings!

Learning how to play blackjack is relatively straightforward card game. It requires each player, including the house, to reach the number of 21 or lower, without going over (or going bust). Before playing it is important to know the basics of the game. In blackjack, all cards are valued at whatever number appears on the card. The 6 of hearts, is worth 6, and so on. All face cards – jacks, queens and kings – have a value of 10. These cards, while they are great playing cards to play blackjack with, they can also make one's hand go bust quite easily. An ace is perhapd the best of all blackjack cards to receive as it can either count as an 11 sum or a sum of 1, it’s up to the player’s discresion. Consequently, if your hand goes bust with your ace as an 11 value, simply drop down to 1 and chance another hit.

When you begin to play blackjack, it is important to know that you are playing exclusicely playng against the house in this game. Unlike in such games as poker, blackjack players do not need to be aware of other opponents at the table, they simply need to focus on beating the house. One of the most difficult questions is to know when to hit and when to stay (or when to take another card, and when to wave the dealer away). Learn how to play blackjack properly and improve your chances of winning!
